Recently, I was looking for a quick portable snack to make to take along for a long road trip. I stumbled across this recipe, and it was perfect! It only had three ingredients, all of which I already had on hand in the pantry. The process is very similar to making Rice Krispies treats. Simply heat the peanut butter and honey on the cook-top until melted. Remove from heat and stir in the Cheerios. Press firmly into the pan and pop it in the fridge for an hour. Cut into 9 large bars.
Now it's time to enjoy all that peanut butter goodness. Try not to eat half the pan by yourself!
Let’s get cooking!
Ingredients
3 cups of Cheerios
3/4 cup of peanut butter

Pro tips:
Spray your fingers, spatula, and measuring cups with cooking spray to keep the honey from sticking.
You can control the amount of sugar in this recipe by using a natural peanut butter that has no sugar added.
